we have a fake fish tank with fake fish.....put a real fish in there...?

you know those fake fish tanks...with the fake fish, you turn on the bubbles and the "fish" swim around?? well we decided to put a real beta in there...do you think we should turn on the bubbles or would it hurt the fish....this beta has been around for a long time and I don't want to do anything to kill him....think it's a good idea, what harm could it cause???

It shouldn't matter if it would be in a fake one or not...but just make sure that it has enough space to swim and it doesn't get too crowded. Also, make sure you have enough food and water, even fishbowls come in plastic.
But it'd be safer to put it in a real tank.
