My puppy had a bad case of worms when I got her a week and a half ago, sense...

...then we took her to the vet and? had her dewormed. The doctor gave us another dose for in 3 weeks to give her.
Then we took her home and obviously she was pooping out all the dead worms.
For a couple days she stopped having the worms in her poop.

And now-3 days later there are tiny kinda fat worms in her poop, is this normal and will the dose in 2 weeks now, clear this up?

i remember my dad found 6 puppys on the side of the road and 3 of them died and we couldnt figure out why. And it was because they all have worms. I would call the vet. But the three puppys that lived pooped out little rice looking worms for a wile. Another puppy almost died but luckly we got the medicine in time. We had to carry her everywhere like a little baby. We gave away 2 of them and kept the one we had to always carry around and she is now almost 9 years old. Becareful worms can kill puppys the worms eat all of their food and they starve to death. The dose shoud clear it up. I think it takes a lil wile for them to be completely out of their system. Just becareful because is your puppy still has some worms they can multiply again.

good luck i hope your puppy is okay!

Yes, that is why there are more than one to give. The first time we wormed our pup she still had a few worms, after the second pill they were all gone.

    Hi Marbear

Yes this can happen due to the life cycle, and amount of worms she may have had. You should be fine by following the Vet's instructions. If she should have other symptoms, just give the Vet a call, and they will be glad to advise you.

    Best of luck.

Unfortunately it's impossible for us to diagnose from here.

Call your vet first thing in the morning. Grab a stool sample in case they want to do another test.
