My female cat is 4 years old. She has a problem with peeing. Especially on my bed. It's happened a little over a half a dozen times over 2 or 3 years. We took her to the vet and the vet found some beginings of crystals and maybe stones. We have had her on a special diet of urinary cat food for months. We've been covering our bed with plastic. But the one time we uncovered the bed and weren't in the room she peed on the bed again. Should we take her to the vet yet again, or should we do the inevitable of putting her to sleep? We would not be comfortable taking her to a shelter because she has some emotional problems, typical scaredy cat. She's even afraid of us after 4 years. Although she does love us and trust us, she's just jumpy. She does live with her sister from the same litter and they get along great. So no problems there. We clean the litter box every other day. What should we do?
