    Rehoming Staffie tomorrow?

My friend has just called to ask if I can take her to the rescue tomorrow with her staffie as she cannot look after him anymore.
Her son brought him as a puppy last year. The breeder sold him the dog even though he only 15.
He is now in a detention centre and my friend cannot take care of the dog as he is too strong for her.
I am feeling a bit sad as I know I will get upset when we have to leave him at the rescue.

My question is how can we best cope with this situation
