Please help me, my cat just had kittens on Saturday...(i feel duped, btw, the person who gave me her said she was spayed)..and surprise....first vet visit...Oh, she's gonna have kittens...ANYWAYS, she had them on Saturday...COULD SHE already be in HEAT? she's dripping little amounts of blood from her rear....She didn't bleed any after having kittens on Saturday and she was fine....my vet says she can't be spayed for at least 4 more weeks...because she can't be gone from kittens overnights!!! HELP.......I don't wanna rush into vet only to find out she's in heat....

No she is not in heat.

You have to keep an eye on the amount of blood, you want to make sure everything is out of her (to put it nicely) One of my foster cats had a little bleeding afterwards, I took her to the vet and he said it should stop in a couple of days, but if it gets heavy to bring her in ASAP

I had the same situation with our first cat. Ugh free pets.

If she is bleeding from the rear this long after, get her to the vet ASAP. I had to take our Momma in, carted the kittens with us so they would be together.
