Thread: Piranha acting strange.?

I just did a 75% water change for my tank and my piranha are now hanging around the top. They usually are around the bottom of the tank. The temp is the same and I did treat the water. I have white clouds and a pleco in the tank and they are not acting strange at all. Any ideas?

thats a big water change.they are probably starving for oxygen.the clouds are cuz of the sudden change in temp.airate the hell out of it,keep an eye on the temp ,watch the nitrogen cycle.you may have interrupted the nitrogen cycle with that big of a change.i usually dont make water changes,simply let the level go down natually,about 1/5 the height of the water and add water.filter&airate,it will save bacteria which is where the nitrogen cycle begins.
