Thread: Was it OK for me to feed some small apples to a herd of wild Canada...

...Geese? I hope they don't get sick ? I like to walk in this park, and there are several small trees with tiny red apples. I picked a handful of these things and threw them in the middle of a herd of Canada Geese. The geese always seem to love eating grass like cows or something, so maybe i shouldn't have fed them these apples.
They seemed to love the taste though, and ate them all up and even fought over them.

I am assuming that apples are not poison to a goose are they?

to tell you the most you can get a 200 dollar fine for feeding animals in a park! yeh i wouldnt do that because if you get caught you will get fined big!! and also they say that because the geese poop everywhere and make the park a total mess! and make the park look horrible to people that visit it! so please make wise choices you never know! but altho ur feeding the animals and i know its nice some1 else might thinks it not at all ok!

Of course not...they eat apples.

Don't worry about it. I'm sure if they are found in the wildlife they've eaten them before. I'm sure they'll be fine!
