Thread: My parrotlet won't stop laying eggs!! helppppp?

shes laid 5 and looks to be having a 6th all in a row!!!! shes only 7 months :/ im scared that her egg laying will kill her! shes the only bird in my house so i dont know why she feels the need to lay it. I keep her eggs in her cage with her not that she ever sits on them(she actually attacks them)

The first time she ever laid an egg was a month ago and it was only one. i thought itd be the case this time too but shes already wayyyy over thhat. is this normal or healthy??! how can i get her to stop. i took out all her nesting stuff but shes always spending all her time out of her cage with me anyways.

toss the eggs- they aren't ever going to hatch. she isn't going to stop laying until she's done- so there's no stopping it. as for normal- this is a lot of eggs for a bird that isn't a chicken- but i don't think she's in danger.
