    My lop earred rabbit is scratching her ears and loosing her balance. Will...

    ...ear mites cause this problem? Other than those symptoms she is quite healthy. Good appetite etc....

    Yes that is a good sign of ear mites... You can treat ear mites with baby oil. Put a couple drops in each ear daily for about a week and then recheck them by cleaning them out and putting it in a plastic lunch baggie like a sandwich baggie and hold it to the light and see if anything moves. Use q-tips to clean the ears out.
