my jack russell has really bad food aggrssion what can i do besides obeidence training?

My kitten always steals my pens ands gets on the counter what can i do to make her stop?
the squirt bottle doesn't work and when i say no she runs away and about 3min later she's back

what can i do?

she's a kitten, she's gonna try and play. i think the best thing to do would be get a distraction, a handful of straws or a laser pointer would probably work. she will most likely outgrow the stealing of your pens, but in the meantime, you'll need some other way to distract her

i haven't got a clue about the dog thing
