Thread: My 11 week old puppy bites me while I am playing with him.?

My 11 week old puppy always tries to bite me when i am playing with him or even when I am just petting him. Maybe this is how they play, but his teeth are hard, he has ENOUGH chewing toys and when he does bite me, I yelp and look away from him and fold my hands then after like 10 seconds I come back and give him a chewing toy.

Is this how I should treat the fact that he bites me? He is really hyper. Like right now he just bit my feet and ran away LOL.

He is a 11 week old German Shepherd mixed with Beagle and Rottweiler. Check him out here, he is quite trained and is really friendly when he's not hyper.

im not exactly sure what to do about it but he probably hasnt gotten used to the fact of not having other dogs around
