male cat and strong smelling urine?

we adopted a stray kitten a few months ago. my grandmother warned me, because he is a male, that he will start to spray and have strong smelling urine.

now that he is getting older i am starting to notice the smell. it makes the whole house stink!!

is there any thing that i can do to get rid of the scent?

do i need to get him neutered?
how about a different cat litter or deoderants for the box?

Yeah, if you want the smell to stop you need to have him neutered.
He'll continue to spray until he's "fixed".

Just clean it up, & let him go outside.
