Thread: internal filter?

is it ok to put where the power cord goes into the filter into water? my filter did not come with any instructions tho it did say "Put the filter into water until water level cover the top motor." what does this mean?

It means fill it with water and then stick it in until the motor is just under the top of the water and try not to let the cord go in.
