i want to feed my ferrets meat?

i'm thinking about trying meat on my two ferrets since they are carnivores by nature, but i don't know how. what kind of meats? do i cook it? how would i give it to them since they aren't used to it? how long does it take for the ferrets to eat it? i don't know. i've looked online but every site says different stuff. bandit is 2-3 yrs old and rascal is almost 1 yr old and i'm in the process of getting them used to ferret food (from cat food)...they have never had meat before, only the meat that's in the kibble. can anyone give me tips on feeding my babies meat? thanks in advance.
