I just read a bunch of answers that stated 'if you ask a question on here you should not be breeding and you are a BYB' and was wondering where I fit in with this? I asked a question myself on here, just in case someone actually knew the answer. No one knew for sure,only guessed, including the vet, several show breeders asked, and one person on here claimed to (show person) while litterally cursing me out,,,but they were dead wrong. My question is why is a person considered ignorant and a BYB for not knowing the answer to something,,when NO ONE else knows it either? How do I find out the answer without trying all avenues?

The question was...In a false pregnancy, does a b**** loose mucus and have the standard temp drop at whelping time? It's nothing that has ever come up before with anyone , so I tried asking here for a broader chance of someone having experienced this.I seriously want to know how my question shows my ignorance,if none of you know the answer for sure either?
The only way to know this answer for certain, is to have experienced it, or know someone that has, so mentors do no good with this if they've never experienced it.
