not okay to go inside? she is 8 month old basset hound shitzu mix and she still goes inside. she goes outside when we walk her, but if we let her roam around the house, she'll still go inside. the whole time we've had her, she's only asked once. (sitting in front of the door and whimpering) but since then, she hasn't done it again. also, theres times (oh so many times *sighs*) that we're outside walking her and we figure she didn't have to go in the first place. but when we get her upstairs to our apartment, she pees in the stairway. i don't understand why she's being such a B*tch about going outside. we don't wanna train her to go inside. we wanna teach to ask, but we have no idea how. she knows that its not okay to go inside and when we notice all we have to say is "go to your room!" and she instantly goes. are there any good suggestions to make her ask?
