Thread: How do I get fly trap goo off of cat fur?

My cat got a medium sized fly trap stuck on his upper left side and down onto his stomach... I got the trap off but the goo is still all over the described area. Any suggestions on how to remove it?

I had the same problem. Unfortunately, my cat got into the same situation. My vet told me to cut the hair. Soap and water did not work for me. She also suggested to use Ice to freeze the hair to help cut it. I'm not sure how that works. Hope this helps.
