Thread: help my sick dog won't eat at all!!!!!!!!!?

my dog has been sick since monday she was vomiting and had blood in her stool my vet checked her for parvo and it was negative but he put her on treatment anyway just in case he also put her on Metronidazole.i see her getting better but she has lost a lot of weight and i hate seeing her like that,my questions are what can i do for her to eat again? or how long will it be until she will want to eat again? and what can i give her to eat? when my dog got sick the vet suggested using a tiny amount of chicken broth on her dog food to soften it and add flavor. just make sure she is drinking water, and doesn't dehydrate.they can go weeks without food and live but only days without water before they die.
