    Golden Retriever?

My boyfriend and I have a Golden Retriever puppy who is almost 6 months old. We've been feeding him Purina Puppy Chow and I've noticed that the Puppy chow is not always the exact same, It's all Purina, but sometimes it'll be a different mixture of food, and he recently has been puking. He threw up 3 times yesterday and I think that he might of done it the other day too. I understand that sometimes puppies get into stuff without our knowledge, but it just doesn't seem right for him to yak that much. I don't know if maybe it's the humidity, we live in Michigan and it's been really muggy and up in the 90's during the day. We've got a little fan for him, and feed him ice cubes and he gets let outside during the day but I noticed yesterday that he was extremly warm, this is our first dog and I just wonered if I am just being an overprotective dog mommy or is this normal?..
