Can I use a heater rated for 30 Gallon aquarium in my 10 Gallon aquarium?
I have a 10 Gallon aquarium and the heater just recently stopped working. I purchased a heater (Guardian) that says it is good for a 30 gallon tank, and I want to be sure that the heater isn't going to heat my tank to much.

you shouldnt need a heater for a 10 gallon its small enough and will maintain at room temp

It has a thermostat, that's fine.
