    After my 20% weekly water changes do I really need to add a biological...

    ...additive along with chlorine remover? 80 gallon bowed aquarium, cycle aquarium for over a year or so now. Fishes are as follows:

    (2) Oscars (1) jack Dempsy (1) Featherfin Squeaker Catfish and (1) Common Pleco

    I don't add anything other than water safety treatment to mine unless I'm doing a large water change but if you've been doing this and have had a successfully running tank for an entire year then perhaps continuing is a good thing.

    After all....if it ain't broken....
