So, where my horse lives right now, she is on daytime turnout and does not have a run-in shed available. On days when it is snowy, icy and generally frozen and wet outside, I like to blanket her. She has a size 87, waterproof, insulated turnout rug right now but I can barely get it closed at the chest and it puckers and falls short over her hips. I'm just making her wear the small one for the remainder of this winter but I would like to find an affordable size 90-92in turnout for next year. I've done some shopping already but have not found one for under 0, and they are all brands I am unfamiliar with so I hesitate to spend that much money until I know what I'm getting. Does anyone else here have a large horse and know of a good place to buy durable, insulated and waterproof turnout blankets at a reasonable price?
