Thread: Why wont my palm treo 750 smartphone sync to my vista labtop?

I upgraded the treo to windows mobile 6, (which made me loose EVERYTHING of importance such as appointments and contacts, etc...). I could not sync prior to any upgrades either so my info in storage and sim card is all I have, which does me no good. If I could have sync prior to upgrades I wouldn't have lost anything, but a Palm technician insisted on updating as I did. Next step is to install windows mobile device center driver update, and to uninstall the older windows mobile device center, but my labtop will not let me do that. It says I need administrative permission...but I am the admin and there are only one other user which is me as well, without admin permission, but that is irrelevant. How do I sync my updated treo to my updated vista notebook?!?!? (Now that I already lost all of my important info!) Thank You, Bill.

you need a apecial cd that comes with your treo or you can just by it at any cellphone store they are called sync software they should tell you which one you need

Have you gone to the Palm site and downloaded the desktop for Vista...

I know they just came out with it a few weeks back for my 755p. for Vista.
