    yeah i had that rule too in middle school.
    you just kind of have to deal with it.

    why do they have a no PDA (public displays of affection) rule in middle school?

    me and my bf got in trouble for holding hands!! its a crazy and stupid rule!!

    Holding hands and hugging is a little extreme. Now, swapping spit with each other is another story.

    Because they don't want kids your age getting into anything more than you already have. They don't want you to have sex, get raped, etc. Be happy that they are saving you from a emotional break down. Besides you can always hold hands on a date off school property.

    Edit: I hate the rule too though.
