I want a small device that has a USB port and is capable of print out word documents.
I want to type while I am on the train and print it out of a printer later. This way I save more time.
Does a PDA or Netbook or something else have this function?
The smaller the better

I suggest a Netbook since it weighs less than 3 lbs and is a full fledge mini-computer. You can do word processing, spreadsheets or powerpoints slide shows. Futhermore you can play music files, photos and videos as well as surf the internet on this netbook.

Netbooks do not come with Microsoft Office but you can install Openoffice.org (same applications software like Microsoft Office) on a USB and install it into your netbook. Netbooks comes with 2 or 3 USB ports.

A Netbook will cost you between $299.00 to $349.00.

Netbook will be the best and fastest do to the size of screen and keyboard size. My son has the ACER One and it has word processing but not a full type like word 2007 its like a lighter version but it works great. You could also use the new HTC Touch Pro2 which is available just about all the larger cell provider and coming soon to AT&T.
