...ideas? No cd for D-Link router? Lost programming cd for router and problem deals with DNS. New internet service and IPS address and DNS server address are given. Why can't i connect wirelessly?

Reset the router. There is a little button you can stick an ink pen into , in the rear of the router.

Then, log into the router. Open Internet Explorer and type in 192.168.0.1
D-Link default username is - admin, password - (blank), i think that is the default IP address & UN/PW for D-Link.

Lastly, check your settings. If you have DSL you'll need to enter in your Username and Password in the PPPoE section of router. If you have Cable Internet, just leave all the default settings.

SAVE YOUR SETTINGS
UNPLUG THE MODEM
RESTART THE COMPUTER
