Just yesterday, our teachers announced that our deans are not going to let us show "PDA". No hugging, holding hands, kissing, etc. I understand "no kissing", but no hugging? It's that time of our lives where we teens start having all those lovey-dovey crushes on everyone. I also have this very sweet guy friend. He is the most amazing guy I've ever met! He's so easy to talk to, makes jokes, and makes everyone smile. He loves hugging people for no reason..so I think his hugging is now banned.
Do you think have a rule for not showing "PDA" is fair or unfair? Explain your answer.
Yuppp. In middle school. We have the craziest rules. We have uniforms. Shirts need to be tucked in. Skirts need to be knee-length (no one follows that rule). White or green polo shirts. Boy's haircuts can not touch collar. All the guys need to have short hair. White crew socks. Black/white shoes.
How much more wackier can my school get with the rules?? I have to admit, the rules are horrible. The deans make it up. I don't think our principal does. He is the greatest principal, and I doubt he would do that. My school doesn't really suck..it's actually better than most schools, but the rules are just..ehhh.
During school hours, the gfs/bfs just talk. Maybe occasionally hugging a "bye" before going off to next class. After school, same thing. Some of the popular girls may do a really quick peck on the lips to their bfs, and leave. That's it. It's nothing too serious.
