So prior to September 6th, I had been using a smartphone from AT&T. However, recently my smartphone was washed so for the last month I've been using just a regular old phone that I had. Yesterday I got a good deal on a new Nokia e71x on ebay, and bought it. I am now wondering if I will have to pay for a data plan. Will I? Thanks!
As of September 6th it is a requirement.
you can pay for an data plan but you do not have to. It would be 30 dollars for the cheapest att data plan when you buy a phone from att you dont have to have a data plan on it.
