Thread: Is the LG Dare a smartphone?

I want to know is the LG Dare a smartphone or not? Because on the Verizon website it's not in the smartphone section but I keep seeing on other websites that it's a smartphone.

Let's say why people called a phone a smart phone? Simply because it does certain task that regular phone doesn't: like checking your e-mail, sending text or play video, take pictures, organize your appointment or schedule. You can share files through blue tooth connection. It got LCD display, touch screen display and etc. Its like having your own personal secretary. On my own opinion LG Dare is considered a smart phones.

No its not a smartphone. However it can be set up to read emails and such however you would have a data charge in your bill.
