i have wifi at my house can i just connect to that for free? cant i just call verizon and turn off the internet then connect to my houses wifi?

All cell phone carriers require a data plan with their smartphones. If all you want is WiFi access, then get an iPod Touch.

You have to pay for internet. Even if you have wifi you still have to pay because it is a feature on the smart phone your getting. I wish it was free but sadly no.
