HTC TyTN II - Power usage?

    Hi,

Anyone with one of these knows that the contacts, calender or other applications are still running after the "x" is clicked.

My question is: Would leaving these apps running use more power?

Or, should I terminate them properly to conserve power?

    Thanks a bunch,
    Andy

I terminate them on mine everytime i close them.I haven't noticed any difference in battery life when i do or don't but i am sure it uses a small amount .I do it because then i don't run into a problem with too many programs open at one time and causing it to lock or be very slow.

I never saw where Microsoft offered an explanation about that so, all I can offer is my opinion. The programs there are not running, they are listed just like a list of recently opened files in many other Microsoft programs. My opinion only.
    Hope that helps.
