Handheld Ham Radio Range?
I have order a handheld ham radio that puts out 5 watts. How far away can i hit repeaters?

20 miles on a decent antenna, 1 mile on a rubber duck.

depends on your antenna, and other factors such as your surroundings and also which frequency band you are on.
