Magellan explorist 500 or the Garmin Venture HC?
I want to use them for everything from a navigation in waterways on a boat, trail hiking, even some car directions and maps.
I found a deal where both are about the same price. Suggestions?
I've found that Garmin is usually the better brand. I've had them work where other brands didn't. I currently have a Garmin 60csx that's really great. I use it for driving and hiking. You can get detailed topo maps for it.
