Thread: Does Verizon offer, or is it planning to offer, a Smartphone capable of

WiFi and cell access? Other service providers (aside from Verizon) are offering Smartphones that allow access via the cellular network or WiFi. Am I missing a phone offered by Verizon that has this ability, or is anyone awhere of whether Verizon plans to offer such a phone soon?

Currently, Verizon has 7 PDAs/Smartphones that have BroadbandAccess. According to the Verizon website, BroadbandAccess allows the user to "connect to the Internet, corporate intranet, check your email and download attachments with average download speeds of 600 Kbps - 1.4 Mbps1."

I'm not sure if this is what you were looking for, but you can also purchase BroadbandAccess or NationalAccess cards for your phone with the same capabilities.
