Thread: Does a Smartphone use data when connected to a router?

Im going to get the droid increadable and get the 150 mb plan the 15 dollar a month thing and i was just wondering if i connected the phone to a wireless router or a place were theres wifi at and i used the internet like getting apps and surfing the web would that take up some of the 150 mb on my plan ?

no it doesnot,it is only when you use 3g or 4g...
