Thread: can you get a smartphone just for its looks and texting?

i really want one, but i won't use all that smartphone stuff on it like the internet or stuff like that that often. could i just get one with a texting plan on it, or would i have to pay monthly for all the smartphone stuff even if i wouldn't use it? (AKA the pantech duo for at&t is my favorite smartphone)

you can, but it would be pointless because it's high priced cuz it has lots o features, so it's a waist if u don't use the extra features

I believe on tmobile & at&t..you dont have to get a data plan.
