Thread: Can i activate this verizon phone?

i have the chocolate, but my friends giving me his XV6700 PDA. am i able to activate this new phone? even though it is an upgrade? i understand i wont have internet and stuff, but i really like the key board, please and thanksim not paying for the phone, its a trade

Yes you can upgrade it. Call Verizon Wireless from a different phone.. If it's another Verizon cell phone, it's just *611. Choose the Activate phone option, they'll hook you up with a live rep.. you read off a number on the phone, turn it off, call a number, and you have a new phone.
