Thread: Which are better, PDA/Smart phones or BlackBerry's?

I'm trying to decide what kind of cell phone/organizer to get. but i can't decide whether to get a pda/smartphone or a blackberry. Which one phone/organizer is better? Blackberry's or PDA's?

Uhhh technically they are the same thing.

Look at it like this. Blackberry is the most popular. You run off the blackberry browser, programs, etc. You can pin message or im other people with blackberrys as long as they have a blackberry data plan unlimited. You can move from one blackberry to another fairly easily. The downfall is they are not easy to customize and they don't work well with other phones or programs that are non blackberry.

Palm, HTC, Samsung, and others are better to customize and have more programs available. You can run off other servers besides blackberry and they are easier to program.

All of the phones will have great calenders. I would go in and mess with all of the phones and find one that meets your needs and comfort level. I tried a blackberry pearl 1st and didn't like it, the phone was too complicated. I now have a t-mobile g1 and it was so much easier to set up.
