About how long does is take for a PDA running a Microsoft OS to start up?

I've never owned a PDA, but am thinking of buying one (possibly an HP). I'd really like to know how long it takes to start up a PDA that's running a Microsoft OS. If it's too long I might consider a Palm PDA. Note: I'm referring to a stand alone PDA (not a phone)
