Thread: 90's handheld game, similar to Tamagotchi?

I just got a kick of nostalgia, and I remember that when I was little I had a handheld virtual game very similar to Tamagotchi (though I had plenty of those, too). It was a puppy that you raised the same way you raised a Tamagotchi, and the handheld device itself was a white dog sitting on its haunches with, if I recall correctly, black ears. The screen was on the dog's stomach. I can't find this anywhere on Google, so does anyone know what this was or happen to know what it's called? I loved that thing and it's frustrating me to not be able to remember it! Thanks so much!!!
