What does DICTION and ARTICULATION mean? in musical theatre?

    Does diction/articulation mean:
when you pronouce every sylbable of every word correctly when singing.

Therefore, what is the difference between DICTION and ARTICULATION?

Diction is how clearly you say the words, articulation is how well you project the lines to the audience
