Headphones of Nokia e63 doesn't work........?

I just got my nokia e63. Anyways, I plugged the headphones in (fully) but the music player still plays to music thorugh the speakers not the headphones. The headphones work fine with the radio but it doesn't work for the music player! PLS HELP!!
