Huh? Your question doesn't make any sense. What do you mean by "newsgroups"? And how could you compare them to torrents, since they serve completely different purposes? And what does it mean to ask how fast a newsgroup is?!

Its a legitimate question, newsgroups are utilizing 100% of your internet bandwidth, you are not waiting and not bound by the speed of other people that possess the files, they are located on the servers with very high bandwidth capacity. as a result you are getting everything 100% faster.

I have been using newsgroups for 10 years now. Thank God they exist!!!
