Hey, I did this last year and sung "Hero" by Mariah Carey. I got an A* because of the level of performance, and it also picks you up high marks because of the level of difficulty My friend did Closest Thing to Crazy" - Katie Melua

    Good luck xx

interesting question, its pretty hard to think of something. but i think one of the most important things to remember is that its judged on your technique and skill, not the lyrics or melody, but HOW you sing it. so even if its quite a simple song, if you sing it really well you'll get a good mark. and in someways its better to do something easier really well than something hard and not sing it so well. might be good to choose an old favorite of yours, one you know really well? what sort of things do you really like? cause you will need to put a lot of time and energy into this so its best to pick a song you love and can listen to over and over again. i got an A* in my music GCSE good luck!

"Good Enough" by Evanescence is beautiful. Amy Lee has a stunning voice, and the song really is amazing. Have a listen on YouTube and see what you think.

Good luck with your exam x
