Do you have to use Itunes to get mp3's onto an iPod or can you drag and drop

into the ipods' folders? I hate itunes and all the restrictions it has and don't want to buy an ipod if I will be forced to put itunes on my pc

You cannot drag mp3s onto an ipod because it doesnt play mp3s.the ipod is an acc player, now, and always will be.I wish Apple would stop touting it thus, but that`s a different story.

No you have to use itunes. I have downloaded lots of music from torrent sites ( including mp3 )and i have never had any problems putting them into my ipod and i have never noticed any retrictions.
