I know Reese's Pieces were popularized by E.T. in 1982, but were they invented FOR the movie? (extra tidbit: M&Ms were offered the product placement but turned it down thinking it would hurt sales to be associated w/ what they thought was going to be a huge movie bomb. hee hee, joke was on them, I guess)
