The Tudors. Something familiar about the performances?

After watching the Tudors I thought I had just watched Jerremy Clarkson and his yobbo friends who had raided the dressing up box and were playing a game of "Let's Pretend". A really tacky and naff show . Too much hollering and hooting for my liking . I wont be watching in future.

Didn't see it but the premise really didn't appeal to me to be honest. I don't think it's something that should be taken too seriously.

But I like Top Gear, so I don't think it's a fair comparison.
