    How to delete directv cancelled shows?

    I have alot of canceled shows recorded thru directv but I have no idea how to delete them. They just take up space and I have to scroll far to get to shows I want to watch. Someone please help

    UGh I know how to "delete" them but after I do they show up still as deleted. I want to clear them all together

    so what kind of
    DVR you got? if you got any of DIRECTV DVR's R15,R23,HR21,HR22,HR23 you can find all the information you need by viewing CHANNEL 1 ------- now if you have a TiVO that's different but you can find step by step just go to www.directv.com

    You do not know how to delete a show recorded on a Directv DVR?

    I honestly do not know how you can not know, since all the info you need is on your screen.

    LIST gets you a list of your recordings.

    Then use the red DELETE button to delete what you do not want to keep.
