Thread: Rumours about Gambit in the new X-men movie...?

I've been doing a bit of research for the newest X-men movie to be released. I am excited because Gambit is going to finally be introduced - he's my favourite character However, I've heard that he won't be portrayed with his epicly awesome and trademark red-on-black eyes. Also that he is dressed in fancy silk clothing whereas he always seemed pretty attached to his trench coat.

Does anyone have more info bout this? And what do you think about it, if it is true? I know it seems silly to get worked up bout such a minor detail but I really like the old comics and cartoons and would like to see Gambit as kept as much like the original as possible

unfortunately he isnt portrayed as he is in the comics which is a bummer
