Thread: Im after an old childrens movie that switches from real images to cartoon then back?

A "real" boy jumps into the water and then everything turns into a cartoon. He can talk to all the fish etc. Cant Remember much else about it but loved it as a kid and really wanna try and find it again

i am looking for a childrens movie that started out with real images but then a storm hit and he went in to this library and starts to read this book and then it goes to cartoon and threw out this movie the boy jumps from story to story, like he was running and then he fell in to some water and ended up being in the moby dick book but it was a good movie and would really like to find it
